Our fourth vintage of Pinot Gris is made from fruit sourced from the Lawrie Family Vineyard in Niagara-on-the-Lake. This wine displays hints of pale pink and has an expressive nose of ripe cantelope, peach, mandarin orange, honeysuckle and candied lemon peel. The palate displays notes of lemonade, and firm peach, followed by a long satisfying finish.

- Tasting Notes
Undeniably appealing, Juicy and lush with exuberant notes of blossom and peach. On the palate the wine is clean and sharp, dry but not austere. Overall quite approachable but also fresh and complex too.
Fresh and while this young is full of its original fruit, which is the biggest plus for Pinot Gris because dry varietal wines have a hard time after enough time has passed on by. Sulphur is not really an issue so this delivers the varietal and stylistic goods with fruit at the lead. Good acids, persistence and balance. Drink 2020-2022.
Give this Pinot Gris from Tawse some time to open in the glass (or carafe before serving); fruit is slow to emerge but emerge it does, ripe, in the orchard fruit spectrum, but fresh and taut, while lees play a minor role, adding some cream to the mix. Acids are ripe and creamy, and length is very good to excellent. Solid wine; drink or hold 2-4 years; a more serious example to be sure.
