Winemakers Comments
The 2011 Chardonnay Musque displays a wonderful combination floral fruitiness. On the nose, it has a character of ripe citrus and stone fruit, with honeysuckle. It follows through on the palate with pronounced acidity to balance meyer lemon, peach and subtle tropical notes. Seventeen year old vines provide outstanding fruit for this aromatic clone of chardonnay.
Food Pairings
An ideal summer sipper, this wine can be enjoyed on its own on the patio, or with finger foods and nibbles. Great with Seafood, especially baked white fish. Also try grilled chicken, roasted vegetable pasta or roasted pork tenderloin.
