Winemakers Comments
A blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This wine was put together to be approachable, with great fruit and structure Black cherry and ripe plums start the experience followed by hints of wood, smoke and tobacco. Pronounced mouthfeel, with a long finish. Perfect synergy from the three component grape varieties means this wine is great on its own or with food. Ideal for entertaining!

Very good with older cheeses. Sketches Cabernet Merlot is the perfect barbeque wine...Think sausages, burgers, ribs and steaks! Also a very good choice for pork, beef and game meats of all kinds! Of course, try this wine with pasta and red sauce!
