Winemakers Comments
Classic Chablis style with a Niagara twist….steely citrus, including lemon and grapefruit zest. Also crisp green apple notes with perfectly balancing acidity. All these flavors harmonize perfectly with pronounced minerality. This wine has excellent palate presence and a wonderful clean, lingering finish.

Food Pairings
The fresh crisp flavours and the well balanced acidity make this wine a perfect partner with many types of food and an ideal wine to be enjoyed anytime. Hors d'oeuvres, salads, shellfish, and lighter summer fare work perfectly.

Reviews and Accolades

“Tawse Estate Unoaked Chardonnay 2010, 89 points) — Bright and forward citrus, apple and a touch of peach fruits on the nose of this clean, crisp Chard. Just a lovely, fresh wine in the mouth for lovers of oak-free Chards.“  Click above to read more.
